Game Details
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
* Windows 98/2000/ME/XP/Vista
* Pentium 800 MHz or above
* 256 MB of RAM
* 32 MB video card
* DirectX 8.0 or higher
SIGNING IN
* The first time you log in, you will be asked to sign in and to choose a character to represent yourself in the game. Type in your name and choose a character portrait by clicking the arrow on the right side of the portrait. Click OK to begin.
* If you ever want to sign in as a different player, you can do so from the Main Menu by selecting the Change Player option.
* Player names can be deleted on the Change Player screen. Doing so will delete that players progress in the game as well, but will not affect the progress of other players.
HOW TO START A NEW GAME
* After launching the game, click on Play at the bottom of the screen.
* If you want to continue a game you have in progress, click the Continue option. Doing so will resume the game from the task and round at the point you exited the game.
* If you click on the Start A New Game option, youll be able to begin the game from any task that you had previously reached.
SCORING
* The object of each challenge is to score more points over all the levels than the opposing team. Each individual level has a TASK GOAL. If you score at least that amount, youll likely be on track to beat the opposing team.
* Each level also has an EXPERT GOAL. If you score enough points to exceed the EXPERT GOAL, youll be awarded a hint that you can use in the Boardroom if you fail the overall challenge.
* If you fail to score enough points over the course of a task, the opposing team will win that challenge and youll be sent to the Boardroom. There you will need to select pairs of cards in hopes of finding matching ones with high values. Finding matches will earn you points to fill your progress bar. The game continues until you or one of your two opponents completely fills their progress bar. The contestant with the lowest score at the end of the round will be fired.
* During the Boardroom, clicking on the Hint option will briefly reveal the values on all the cards.
WINNING
* To win the game, successfully complete all levels of the 10 tasks. If you lose a challenge, do your best to survive the Boardroom to get back on track. If you make it all the way to the end of the final task without being fired, you will have earned the right to become the next Apprentice!
